JOB SUMMARY
The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to every employee in the workplace. He/She is a registered nurse who is in charge of health and wellness promotion and illness prevention among employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides nursing care to injured or ill employees
- Performs health assessments within the scope of nursing profession
- Refers employee to physician if condition requires medical evaluation
- Assists physician during employee’s consultations
- Administers prescribed or over-the-counter medications to employees
- Monitors clinic inventory and prepares monthly requisition
- Arranges health examinations of employees to determine their physical fitness to work
- Maintains employee health records and submits reports as required by local governing agencies
- Appraises safety and health hazards in the work environment and provides recommendations for necessary improvements
- Educates employees on health promotion and preventive measures against occupational illnesses and hazards
- Organizes programs integrating occupational safety and health
- Plans and develops health and safety policies aligned with standards of local governing agencies
- Collaborates and assists in other HR tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Performs other related tasks as assigned

Level of Knowledge
- Completed a Post Graduate Course for Basic Occupational Health & Safety for Nurses under OHNAP
- Basic First Aid Training and Basic Life Support Training
Work Experience
- Graduate with Bachelor’s/College Degree in Nursing
- Passed the Nurse Licensure Examination and has updated license
- Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Clinical or Occupational Health Nursing
