Assistant Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager of HR Operations will provide front-line operational HR support and services across the organization. He/She will be working with HR Team that will develop and administer all human resource initiatives and processes to all departments. By developing and implementing various processes and maintaining positive relationships with the Management and employees, the Assistant Manager of HR Operations will help Human Resource to function effectively and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Selection

  • Coordinates with Management, Production and Support Group to ensure timely recruitment of employees and trainees
  • Conducts targeted selection interview for specific positions
  • Participates on interview deliberation with Managers on selecting the best candidate for a vacant post
  • Include supporting the Talent Management Team in building/maintaining strategic alliances with the academe & industry for talent sourcing

Employee and Labor Relations

  • Ensures that the HR policies, procedures and practices are implemented and communicated appropriately
  • Assists on reviewing Incident Reports submitted by the HR Business Partners
  • Maintains all personnel files and records (201 and 202)

Performance Appraisal

  • Gathering and analyzing cross-functional performance data
  • Designs and reviews policies related to employee performance
  • Prepares the bell curve and discuss the results with the Human Resource Head

Timekeeping and Benefits Administration

  • Coordinates with Finance & payroll team to support them for payroll processing and payments
  • Participates in payroll tasks, such as timekeeping for semi-monthly and approving daily time record for weekly and bi-monthly paid employees
  • Oversees and approves Government claims such as salary and calamity loans, maternity and paternity benefits, etc.

Additional Tasks

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to the Head of Human Resource
  • Serves as a point of contact for all HR related concerns (Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Timekeeping performance evaluation, etc.)
  • Responsible for the issuance of internal announcements and memorandum
  • Participates in Production Meeting related to manpower requirements and other employee concerns
  • Ensures that the Staff Reconciliation Report is updated and sent to the Executive Office on a weekly basis
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Behavioral Science or Psychology, Human Resource Development Management or other related course
  • 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Officer, HR Operations or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Has successfully filled vacancies with the right talents in previous engagements
  • Specialized experience in Recruitment, ER/LR, C&B and/or HRIS
